For sure, DVD/VCD version was released in order for us to buy only original copies. For a Filipino movie to stay in movie houses for 5 weeks especially here in Metro Manila is indeed a big accomplistment.

I got this article at msn spaces <unleashed>
I hope you like it.
Profile
Name: Raymond Occupation: Student Age: 19 Location: Bacolod City, Philippines Goodbyes are BullSh*t! It's hard to say goodbye to something or someone who means everything to you. Many times in our life, we come to the point where we have to let go of something. It is an inevitable thing albeit painful. Sometimes, we chain ourselves to that thought and keep ourselves from moving on. We hold on to it when we know that nothing lasts forever. And on this note, lemme say, goodbyes are real bullsh*t!!
Goodbyes suck in the sense that, they make me mushy. I always catch myself teary-eyed, watching movies of those sort, especially those stupid endings when someone has to go or someone was dead, leaving a loved one. What i hate the most is when I don't bring a hanky. Crap and double crap!!
The last time I cried on a movie was with Nasaan Ka Man (which stars Claudine Barretto, Diether Ocampo, Jericho Rosales, Gloria Diaz and Hilda Koronel). I was first hesitant to watch this film for I thought that it was those cheesy pinoy love stories again. But I gave in to my curiousity anyway and the last thing I remembered was seeing myself pulling 60 bucks out of my wallet...
You see, the theme of the movie revolves around goodbyes and everlasting love. It maybe a "too-cliche" theme but yes, I cried. At the same time, it was a spine-tingling and hair-raising experience (no pun intended). It wasn't exactly a horror movie but the way the story unravels will keep you on the edge of your seat. It was like Phantom of the Opera, displaying an inexplicable combination of romance and suspense genres. It was all good technically - the cinematography and the production design was great plus the superb performances of the actors and actresses, it was movie worth commending.
The scene I liked most was the climax (i think) of the story; the part when Joven (Rosales) discovered that he was dead. It was on the third day after he died that he had finally known and it was only Pilar (Barreto) who can only see him. It was Pilar's love that keeps Joven from moving on the other side. All this time, Pilar was seemingly talking to herself. I know I may not sound too good describing the movie but in my own standards, it was a real good movie and I therefore, recommend it.
You may say that I love this movie very much, yes, i love it very much. But there's one thing not good when I watched this movie...
I didn't bring a hanky!
