FINALLY, we got to see a slice of real life -- a face of truth and a nuance of reality -- in ABS-CBN’s Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin which started airing Monday evening.

Thank you, ABS-CBN and the people behind this soap series.

At least we got to see the kind of soap in our primetime television with people whose eyes and noses are in the right places, where they walk or run and not fly or go underground in some imagined kingdom, talking in the language we speak and hear and not in the lingo of old.

In Ikaw Ang Lahat sa Akin people live and move around in familiar places, spending their waking hours like you and me, in offices or school or in markets -- not present in some kingdom stories on our TV screen.

Thank God for Ikaw Ang Lahat sa Akin for putting us in the proper perspective of life, for our kids to know that if they swallow tones or seek to fly they either die or land in the hospital and be main for life.

As a starter, the first episode of Ikaw Ang Lahat sa Akin tells us what to expect in this real-life drama with touches of youthful romance and comedy.

Yes, the rich and the poor with the perpetual search for happiness and love. Rich big boys like Diether Ocampo and John Lloyd Cruz, brothers. Rich school girls Bea Alonzo and Shaina Magdayao.

And there is Claudine Barretto with coughing mother Jaclyn Jose tending to the karinderya which John Lloyd patronize. Plus hideous Carmi Martin and quiet, impotent Noni Buencamino.

From what we saw last Monday evening, we expect to have more exciting real-life episodes in Ikaw Ang Lahat sa Akin. I don’t care what happens to the flying ladies or the talky women of some unknown kingdoms but here is my story, our story, a slice of reality which is really our own.

IPINAGMAMALAKI ngayon ng ABS-CBN ang bago nilang soap operang Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin starring John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Diether Ocampo, Shaina Magdayao, Angelika dela Cruz at Claudine Barreto.

Aba, nag-imbita pa talaga sila ng press para ipapanood ang kanilang pilot episode which was aired last Monday night. We were among the first one na nakapanood ng pilot nila kasama ng iba pang mga TV executives ng ABS-CBN.

Worth it naman ang kanilang pag-iimbita. Na-impress kami sa ganda ng kanilang pilot episode at sa husay ng performance ng mga bida sa soap especially John Lloyd na ang kulit-kulit sa Ikaw Ang Lahat...

Iba rin ang character dito ni Claudine. Hindi ito 'yung typical na role niya sa kanyang mga past soap operas. Light and bubbly ang kanyang personality rito who's longing for her sister na nawalay sa kanya mula pa nung bata ito.

Sa iba pang mga nakapanood ng pilot ng Ikaw Ang Lahat..., they have the same comment. They enjoyed watching it. Nakakaaliw daw, pero punumpuno rin ng puso.

Tama ang perception ng marami sa Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin. Kakaibang teleserye ito. Noong Lunes, inulan ako ng text messages tungkol sa nasabing serye. Kakaiba nga ito in the sense na walang pretensyon. Napaka-simple pero kukurot sa puso. Pati mga karakter, tunay na tao.

Makaka-relate ka sa bawat karakter. Si Claudine Barretto si Nea na ang hangad ay makita at mabuo ang kanyang pamilya. Si John Lloyd Cruz, talagang pinatawa ako sa kanyang pagganap. Ibang-ibang John Lloyd ang napanood ko. Si Bea naman, iba rin. Pero ando’n pa rin yung mabilis na pagpatak ng kanyang luha.

Inaasahan ko na papatok sa viewers ang Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin. Kasi naman, talagang nakaka-miss na ang mga shows na pwede mong panoorin kasama ang mga bata na hindi ka matatakot na magkakaroon ng ibang impact sa kanila.

Sana magtuluy-tuloy ang magandang flow ng story ng Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin. Promising ang teleseryeng ito.

Wow, impressive ang mga comments ng press about the show. That was really a brilliant idea of ABS to invite the press to watch the pilot.....brilliant. ;D Now you just wait & see. If this show rules the ratings, GMA (copycat) will surely follow suit & make a similar show. You know naman, pag pinasikat ni Dine, follow ang mga inggiteros/inggiteras.

ang karakter na ginagampanan ni John Lloyd Cruz sa kanyang bagong teleserye, Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin, with Bea Alonzo on ABS-CBN. Yes, kung ikukumpara sa mga roles na dati niyang ginagampanan sa kanyang mga past teleserye. As Oliver, he is cute and lovable. Although hindi ito ang dating niya kay Bea (as Jasmin), na palagi niyang inaasar kapag nagkikita sila.

Yet, bilang si Oliver, he admits na mahal na mahal niya si Jasmin. In fact, ang dating niya (sa amin, bilang manonood), di niya inaaasikaso ang kanyang pag-aaral dahil kay Jasmin.

Hoy, John Lloyd, magpakita na ka naman ng eksenang you are giving time to your studies. Nang ma-influence mo ang mga estudyanteng manonood ng Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin.

Ganunpaman, walang dudang malaki ang ipinagbago ni John Lloyd, especially with his romantic scenes with Bea. Gandang-ganda kami doon sa parte na parang hilong talilong niyang hinahanap si Bea. And when finally he found her, ang higpit higpit ng yakap niya kay Bea. Feel ng nanonood how much he loves her. And that was just a scene in a teleserye.

Bagama't mas madalas mga eksena nina John Lloyd at Bea ang ipinalalabas sa Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin, this early, alam mo nang napaka-importante rin ng role na ginagampanan ni Claudine Barretto. Kaya, masasabing ka-abang-abang ang bawat eksena niya. Napakaganda rin ng registration ni Claudine sa screen.

Which can also be said of Jaclyn Jose, who plays Claudine's mom. Di siya mukhang kawawa sa kanyang mga eksena. Bagama't supposedly may sakit siya at mahirap sila ni Claudine. Just asking nga pala: "Did Jaclyn really submit to a bustlift?

Actually, ang pinakaaabangan naming ay ang paglabas ni Angelika dela Cruz. We'd like to see for ourselves kung talagang may ipinagbago siya sa kanyang baba (chin). As it is kasi, based sa teaser ng Ikaw Ang Lahat Sa Akin, bago pa man ito nagsimulang i-air, may pagbabago na kaming napansin sa kanya. Gumanda siya. Kaya, umakma sa kanya ang kanyang role sa teleserye, na mayaman, edukada at maganda.

akala ko ako lang ang nakapansin ng chin ni angelika. ive notice it in one of the show where she first appear after her 2 months holiday from japan yata... maikli kase ang face nya but now with her new chin gumanda sya talaga, pero may mga angle na parang puppet tingin ko sa bibig nya... but her new chin didnt beat the natural beauty of our queen! iba ang ganda ni claudine... very simple and natural. no matter how simple ang get up nya she still shines like a star! BONGACIOUS ANG LOLA!

I knew there was something different with Angelika. I thought it was the jaws. ;D It's the chin pala? Sus maryosep, oh well, it's their choice I suppose.

And they noticed that Claudine's screen time is shorter than Bea & John.....hmmmmp......alert ABS.....gising.

sinabi mo pa petmama! pero happy ako today cause mukang pafocus na kila claudine ang story. sa totoo lang bitin na bitin ako sa mga scenes ni claudine... hopefully starting this week umikot na ang story sa kanila nila diet... bago tuluyang isipin ng iba na supporting lang si claudine. HOY GISING ABS!
