THEY say that you're never prepared for fatherhood until you first hold your baby in your arms.
For Raymart Santiago, fatherhood came in an instant, in the form of Sabina Natasha Barretto, the adopted child of Claudine Barretto.
Two weeks ago, Sabina turned one year old and was welcomed to the Christian world. Raymart and Claudine took turns in making Sabina feel at home in her new world, as they showered her with as much parental love as they can possibly give.
Most of us know Raymart as an action star, but that whole persona disappears when he's with Sabina. At the ballroom of Crowne Plaza, a giant collage of photos formed an image of Raymart and Claudine holding Sabina. A giant slide, giant Barney cake with her name formed the giant party that was held in her honor.

Claudine, who coincidentally plays an adopted child in her latest film smiles as she shares, "He's really malambing [sweet] as a dad to Sabina. They

go out on dates, they go to National Bookstore together, Eastwood, and do the groceries together. Sabina just had her haircut from the barber shop with Raymart!"
"He also puts Sabina to sleep. Recently I was in Cannes so they got to hang out more. Raymart has this thing where he twirls his hair to sleep. Now Sabina does the same," muses Claudine.
"They play rough--she starts screaming and laughing whenever she sees Raymart--she knows its playtime with dad."
Beyond playtime with Sabina, Raymart also prepares her milk, changes Sabina's diapers and brings her to the little gym.
"He's so hands on as a dad that he can manage without a yaya," says Claudine.
